You do not have the privilege of NCB under third party insurance on your bike. This is applicable for a comprehensive bike insurance policy only.
Driving without third party bike insurance is illegal in India and there are heavy penalties imposable on the owner. The damages you might have to pay in case of death or accident, to the injured or bereaved family will need to go out from your personal account. According to the Motor Vehicle Act, you can be imprisoned for up to three months and/or fined INR 2000 or even both if caught without insurance. You do not get bonus transfer either, when purchasing a new policy.
