Bajaj Auto Two Wheeler Insurance

The Bajaj Group is a well-reputed business house in India, with its presence extending across industries. Founded in 1926, Bajaj Auto is now the world’s fourth-largest two- and three-wheeler manufacturer, exporting to over 70 countries worldwide, with a revenue of INR 120 billion.

While its three-wheeler auto rickshaws enjoy unparalleled market dominance, Bajaj Auto disrupted the two-wheeler market in India with its Pulsar range of bikes. It also exclusively manufactures the Duke range of KTM bikes, which has paved the way for motorcycle racing in the country.

Popular Bajaj Two Wheeler Models

1
Bajaj Pulsar 150
An absolute gamechanger in the segment, Pulsar 150 has everything going for it – style, power, and mileage. The new Neon edition adds even more style to the range with a new matte paint finish with neon trails, making it stand out amongst the crowd.
2
Bajaj Pulsar NS200
One of the most popular 200 cc bikes, the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is positioned just above the 220F, churning out 24.13 PS power. The BS VI version of the bike churns out 20.4 PS from its single-cylinder, 220 cc engine. It continues with the aerodynamic design and comes with twin disc brakes paired with a single ABS channel.
4
Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220
The timeless cruiser design with chrome highlights and smooth curves is always going to turn heads. The laidback riding position offers comfort over long distances while the patented DTS-i technology 220 cc engine produces 18.4 PS power to ride on highways. The single-channel ABS is a standard safety feature in its class, and it makes the Avenger one of the most affordable cruisers in the market.
5
Bajaj Dominar 400
The most powerful bike from Bajaj’s stable, Dominar 400 comes with a 373 cc direct overhead camshaft (DOHC), liquid cooled, fuel injected engine, producing 40 PS of power. The muscular stance and throaty exhaust are attention-grabbing, while the upright sports tourer design ensures comfort even after a whole day of riding. It also comes with best-in-class USD forks and twin-channel ABS for safety.
6

Frequently Asked Questions

Congratulations on your new bike! The dealer is likely to offer you insurance as well, but it’s not compulsory to buy it on the spot. You can hold off on the purchase of the insurance and do your own research. Dealerships might recommend insurance policies that suit them more than it might suit you. However, a quick online research will help you make an informed decision that best suits your requirements.
Yes, it does. As per the Motor Vehicles Act, vehicles with a 250W motor, and speed capped to 25-30 kmph do not require insurance, or registration or a license. But Bajaj Chetak has a powerful 4080 W motor, and therefore, regular two-wheeler rules would apply. We would recommend opting for a comprehensive insurance plan for your Bajaj Chetak to ensure maximum protection.
You can log onto the HDFC ERGO portal and enter your policy details. You may be required to self-inspect the damage and send pictures of the bike through the mobile app. You can also call the tollfree number and register your claim. Keep your policy document handy. All of this must be done at the earliest, preferably within 24 hours of the mishap.
The answer to this depends on the conditions in which your tyres were damaged. In case of an accident, if the tyres were damaged, then a Bajaj Auto comprehensive insurance plan will cover against the damage and replace the tyres. However, in case of vandalism, it is not covered.
