Royal Enfield Two Wheeler Insurance

Royal Enfield Two Wheeler Insurance

Designed by Bob Walker Smith and Frenchman Jules Gobiet, the first Royal Enfield motorcycle was produced in 1901 and launched in London. In 1949, K. R. Sundaram Iyer launched Madras Motors that received an order from the Indian Army for 500 350cc Bullets three years later. In 1955, the Redditch Company joined forces with Madras Motors to form 'Enfield India’. In 1994, The Eicher Group took over Enfield India Limited and renamed it as Royal Enfield Motors Limited. Today, it is the world’s oldest motorcycle brand and recently unveiled a range of limited-edition helmets celebrating its 120 years. It also launched the all-new Royal Enfield Classic 350 in September this year.

Popular Royal Enfield Bike Models

1
Classic 350
Power met precision when the Classic model was relaunched in an all-new avatar. The new model is inspired by the post-war G2 model, which the world saw in the 1950's. It is easily recognisable by its teardrop fuel tank, the distinctive thump, pea shooter exhaust, and the hallmark casquette headlamp. In 2009, when the Classic model hit the Indian market, Royal Enfield had hardly imagined that they had created its marquee product and now bigger things can be expected of its successor.
2
Bullet 350
If you listen to the lyrics of several Punjabi songs, you can find many references being made of this bike. That’s the kind of fan-following Bullet 350 has, simply because its presence is so imposing. The laid-bare engine, handcrafted chrome detailing and hand-painted pinstripes give it its signature look. Available in three colours, it is a motorcycle that is known for its stability and dependability.
3
Meteor 350
With classic contours and timeless design cues, Meteor is a thoroughbred cruiser. It comes with an all-new air-oil cooled SOHC engine, electronic fuel injection system, advanced braking ability, and responsive power delivery. It is not just stronger and more durable, but also designed to provide straight-line stability without compromising on comfort. Available in multiple hues, it features a Tripper™ navigation system, the first-ever in a Royal Enfield motorcycle. It also has a USB charging port.
4
Interceptor 650
Blend the essence of a British roadster with a dash of a California Desert Racer and there you have the Interceptor 650, inspired by the iconic 60’s model. It is thoroughly tested for durability and balance. Whether you need to deal with city traffic or cruise smoothly on an open road, its R18 alloy-rimmed wheels manage both situations well.
5
Continental GT
The inspiration for this Twin model (other twin model being the Interceptor) has been taken from the Continental GT 250 that symbolised the café racer culture of 1950s and 60s. It is an amazing blend of tradition and modernity. Its sculpted tank and a tucked-in riding position make it a perfect ride for all kinds of terrains.
6
Himalayan
If you love mountains and are eager to rush to different hill stations on every long weekend, here’s a motorcycle meant just for you. The Himalayan is designed to let you travel thousands of kilometres and overcome the most challenging terrains, from rocky to snowy. The upright riding position and the perfectly positioned foot pegs and handlebars reduce fatigue. Its LCD dashboard tracks everything from miles to maintenance.
