Two-wheelers are a very common sight on Indian roads. Due to the affordability and the convenience two-wheelers provide, sales in the two-wheeler market have seen a sustained hike in recent times.

Amongst two-wheelers, the most popular segment is that of motorbikes. Bikes are a passion among the younger generations of India. The speed and thrill are enough to make one fantasize about modern-day bikes. With advances in technology, new and faster bikes are a common sight in the market today. These can act as stress busters and help you have exciting adventures especially when you traverse serene mountain trails on your bike. What can be more exciting than that?

Motor Bike Insurance in India

A THIRD PARTY BIKE insurance cover for motorbikes is mandatory in India as per the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. However, this liability insurance coverage is not sufficient for your bike and you will have to think about the all-round safety of your motorbike. For this, you can purchase a COMPREHENSIVE TWO-WHEELER INSURANCE policy that will provide cover against all wear and tear of your motorbike.. It provides coverage against any damages caused to the insured motorbike due to natural calamities or other eventualities like theft, riots, etc.

Most insurance providers now give the option to purchase and renew bike insurance policy online. This has made the entire process extremely quick and convenient. By the online method of purchase of motorbike insurance, you can avail benefits like easy transfer of No Claim Bonus (NCB), discounts on premium, easy renewal of insurance policy, add-on covers, etc.
