About Vault Program

VAULT is a customer engagement-based membership program. Under this program, eligible customers will be incentivized by way of reward points on meeting the specified criteria or actions.

This program is an experiment to test a new idea under the Regulatory Sandbox created by IRDAI. The testing period will be till 14th May 2022.

The continuance of the product beyond the testing period will be subject to IRDAI approval. Maximum customer enrolments under this program will be 10,000. This reward program will cover Optima Restore customer. We will inform eligible customers via SMS, Email or WhatsApp on their registered contact number, and/or email id. The first 10,000 customers will only be eligible for this program.

The Regulatory Sandbox created by IRDAI is used to carve out a safe and conducive environment to experiment with innovative approaches. It allows the insurance company to conduct field tests to collect evidence on the benefits and risks of new products and services. No new customers will be enrolled after 14th May 2022. More points can be earned and redeemed by enrolled customers up to14th May 2023.

Ways to Earn more Points

If you are eligible for the VAULT program, you can earn points by performing the following activities or meeting the criteria(s) mentioned below

Provide Additional Vehicle Details

If you own a car, bike or scooter, provide us with details such as, registration number of the vehicle, date of expiry of the existing insurance policy, etc. and earn additional points.

No points will be given if you have an active motor insurance policy with HDFC ERGO

Refer A Friend Or A Relative

Refer A Friend Or A Relative

Refer a friend or a relative to purchase an HDFC ERGO retail insurance policy directly from us, and earn additional points when your friend or relative referred by you purchases a policy.

Share Your Latest Medical Report

Share Your Latest Medical Report

If you are less than 45 years of age, and have not undergone a medical check-up at the time of purchasing your Optima Restore policy, on or after the program launch date, then email your medical report to vault@hdfcergo.com This should contain tests like blood pressure, lipid profile and thyroid. The report collected by us will be used purely for this rewards program and will not impact your existing policy.

Interact With Us Digitally

Interact With Us Digitally

Earn additional points by using the Self Help Portal on our website for updating details like mobile number, email ID and address against your Optima Restore policy.

Loyal Customer

Loyal Customer

You can earn points if you hold another active HDFC ERGO retail policy other than Optima Restore.

Vintage Customer

Vintage Customer

You can earn points if you hold the Optima Restore policy consecutively for 2 or more years.

Undertake Annual Health Check-up

Undertake Annual Health Check-up

You can earn points by undertaking the annual health check-up provided under wellness services in your Optima Restore policy.

This is applicable only if the annual health check-up provided under Optima Restore is unutilized.

Use Of Cashless Network

Use Of Cashless Network

Use cashless claim facility from our wide range of network hospitals, for any hospitalization claim under your Optima Restore policy and earn additional points.

Early Renewal

Early Renewal

Renew your Optima Restore Policy with us at least 30 days before the renewal date and earn additional points.

Pre-Policy Check-up

Pre-Policy Check-up

Complete your pre-policy check-up/Tele MER process required under your Optima Restore policy within 5 days from our first communication or call with this regard and earn additional points.

This activity is applicable only for customers who have purchased a new Optima Restore policy, on or after the program launch date.

• You can earn points for an activity only once during the sandbox experiment period against your registered mobile number and eligible policy number.

• Once the points are redeemed for an activity, it will not be reversed.

You can redeem your earned points in either of the ways mentioned below:

Frequently Asked Questions

Customers eligible for the Vault reward program will be intimated via SMS, email or WhatsApp on their registered phone number or email ID by HDFC ERGO General Insurance Co. Ltd.

No new customers will be enrolled after 14th May 2022. Eligible customers can earn more points in different activities, and the earned points can be redeemed by enrolled customers up to 14th May 2023.

Vouchers will be valid for one year from the date of issuance.

No, you cannot exchange earned points for cash or transfer it to a bank account.

No, you can earn points only once for each criteria.

There is no limit to point redemption.

1 Reward Point is equivalent to INR 0.10;10 Reward Points are equivalent to INR 1

You will have to mandatorily provide KYC details in order to redeem points

Kindly ensure that you are using your registered mobile no. for login

If you hold multiple Optima Restore policies but with the same contact number, then you will be able to earn points against all the policies but only once for each criteria

If you hold multiple Optima Restore policies but with different contact number and if all policies are eligible for Vault Reward program, then you will get points seperately against each contact number.and policy.
