How to Register Vehicles at RTO Jabalpur?

    You can register your vehicle at RTO Jabalpur by visiting the local RTO. You also can register your new vehicle with RTO Jabalpur through your vehicle's dealer. In all three processes, you must submit relevant documents along with the application form and pay registration fees. Here are the steps to register your vehicle by visiting the local RTO:

    • Visit the RTO Jabalpur with the vehicle.

    • To apply for registration, fill out and submit Form 20.

    • The RTO Superintendent will verify the submitted form and attached documents.

    • Pay the road tax and registration fee at the designated counter

    • An Inspector of Motor Vehicle (IMV) will inspect the vehicle being registered.

    •After successful inspection, the RTO will enter the vehicle details into its database.

    • The Assistant Regional Transport Officer will then approve the registration

    • The Registration Certificate (RC) of the vehicle will be issued and sent to your registered address.

    • As per the Supreme Court's order, it is now mandatory for people buying a car to purchase a third party car insurance with a three-year policy tenure. On the other hand, a 5-year third party bike insurance policy is compulsory for new two-wheeler registration. However, suppose a bike owner opts for a comprehensive two wheeler insurance policy, we offer package cover with one year of own damage and five years of third party cover. If a person opts for a comprehensive car insurance policy for a private car, we offer a bundled policy of one year of own damage and three years of third-party cover.

Yes, you can. Since 2021, the Madhya Pradesh Government has introduced the Aadhaar-based online facility for getting a learner's license. This is a faceless facility wherein you would not have to visit the RTO. You can take the test online from your home through Aadhaar-based authentication. To do so, you would have to register for the same. The process is as follows-

• Visit and choose 'Online Services'

• Click 'Driving License related services'

• Choose 'Apply for Learner's License'

• From the two options available, choose 'Submit via Aadhaar authentication'

• Provide your Aadhaar card number, and then you will become eligible for the online test from home.

To get a fancy number plate in Jabalpur, you would have to register for an auction held for the VIP numbers. Based on the bid submitted by the highest bidder and the type of number that you want, the cost of the VIP number plate will be determined.
