Verge TS Pro Debuts as the World’s First Solid-State Battery Electric Bike

At CES 2026, Verge Motorcycles made waves by unveiling the production-ready TS Pro, set to become the world’s first electric motorcycle equipped with an all-solid-state battery. Moving straight from concept to production, Verge aims to outpace mainstream manufacturers still experimenting with similar technology.

The Finnish brand, renowned for its striking hubless in-wheel motor design, partnered with Donut Lab to bring this innovation to market, with deliveries planned in select global regions in the coming months.

The TS Pro’s solid-state battery replaces traditional liquid or gel electrolytes with a solid medium, dramatically reducing fire risks in accidents. Buyers can choose between a 20.2 kWh pack with a 350km range or a 33.3kWh pack offering up to 600km.

CCS2 fast-charging allows 80 percent replenishment in just 10 minutes with a compatible charger, emphasising convenience alongside cutting-edge technology.

Powering the TS Pro is Verge’s hubless drive system, which uses interacting electromagnets and permanent magnets to spin the wheel without a conventional axle. The system produces 102kW (138.6hp) and a staggering 1,000Nm of torque, propelling the bike from 0 to 100 kph in a claimed 3.5 seconds.

Weighing 235kg, the TS Pro combines futuristic design, exceptional acceleration and advanced battery safety, positioning Verge as a pioneer in the electric motorcycle arena.
