In the latest development, Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the Tiger Sport 800 Tour, an upgraded version of its Tiger Sport 800 featuring advanced touring features. The bike is powered by a 798 cc, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces a maximum power of 113 hp at 10,750 rpm and 84 Nm of torque at 8,500 rpm. Plus, the engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox equipped with a slip-and-assist clutch.
Apart from these, the bike is equipped with colour-matched panniers, a roomy 49-litre top box with a pillion backrest, a comfort seat, knuckle guards, a centre stand, and heated grips. These features enhance long-distance comfort and luggage capacity. Weighing 232 kg, about 14 kg more than the standard model, the Tour variant offers a generous 106 litres of storage, making it ideal for riders who often travel with gear.
The Tiger Sport 800 Tour features radial four-piston calipers clamping twin 310mm floating discs at the front for strong braking performance. A single-piston sliding caliper with a 255mm rear disc provides balanced stopping power. Optimised Cornering ABS further enhances safety by maintaining control during leaned turns. The bike rolls on lightweight 17-inch cast aluminium wheels shod with Michelin Road 5 tyres, delivering dependable grip across varied conditions.
