Harley-Davidson, in partnership with Hero MotoCorp, is gearing up to introduce the all-new X440 T to the Indian market. The bike is powered by a 440 cc air-oil-cooled single-cylinder engine that produces 27.3 hp and 38 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed transmission featuring a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother shifts.
Further, the X440T features a tubular steel trellis frame and is expected to use the same suspension setup as its predecessor, the X440, though with revised damping to suit its distinct character. Up front, it gets 43 mm KYB upside-down dual-cartridge forks, while gas-charged twin shocks with 7-step preload adjustment support the rear.
A 3.5-inch circular TFT display, likely shared with the X440, handles infotainment duties, including connectivity and navigation. The bar-end wiring hints at ride-by-wire capability, enabling features like traction control and selectable ride modes. The X440T will also come equipped with dual-channel ABS.
