Suzuki has officially launched the GSX-8R, the supersport motorcycle in the Indian market. It targets performance fans with its competitive price and advanced features. A 776cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine with a 270-degree crankshaft layout powers this bike. The engine produces 81.8 HP at 8,500 RPM and 78 Nm of torque at 6,800 RPM, delivering a strong mid-range performance and smooth acceleration across varied riding conditions. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox featuring assist and slipper clutch technology.
The GSX-8R is equipped with high-quality Showa chassis components and extensive safety features enabled by the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS). The SIRS includes traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, bidirectional quick-shifter, and low RPM assist functions.
The motorbike jumps out with its bold supersport style, vertically stacked LED headlights, and unique cuts and curves. Suzuki offers three attractive colour options: Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Black No. 2.
With its bold style, high-performance engine, and advanced riding aids, the Suzuki GSX-8R is set to make a strong mark in India’s mid-supersport bike segment.
