Hero MotoCorp plans to launch its all-electric Vida sub-brand this September. This aggressive expansion into the UK, Germany, France, and Spain will be led by the Vida Z electric scooter, which made its debut at the 2024 EICMA motorcycle show.
Hero's dedication to global expansion and sustainable mobility is shown in this calculated action. Hero intends to add high-end ICE vehicles, such as the Xtreme 250R and the new XPulse 421 adventure cycle, to its European inventory after the electric scooter debut. Hero's foreign business is booming at the moment of the expansion, as seen by its 43% increase in FY2025 throughout its 48 global markets.
With a significant current presence in South Asia and Latin America, Hero MotoCorp's ₹40,756 crore revenue now comes from exports at a rate of 5.7%. The next significant stage in Hero's global growth strategy is the European expansion, which establishes the Indian manufacturer as a major player in the premium and electric motorbike markets globally.
