In the latest turn of events, Ducati has unveiled the 2026 Monster, powered by an all-new 890cc V2 engine platform. The new setup helps Ducati meet Euro5+ emission norms while delivering performance and efficiency.
The engine produces 109.4 hp at 9,000 rpm and 91 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm, slightly below the outgoing model’s 110 hp and 93 Nm, but the bike is 6 kg lighter. It now features Intake Variable Timing (IVT) for smoother power delivery.
Braking performance is handled by dual 320 mm front discs with four-piston radial callipers and a 245 mm rear disc with two-piston callipers. Riders also benefit from a suite of electronic aids, including a six-axis IMU, traction and wheelie control, engine braking management and cornering ABS across four riding modes: Sport, Road, Urban, and Wet.
The engine sits within a front-frame chassis reminiscent of other V2 models, paired with a hollow double swingarm and Showa suspension at both ends, giving the Monster a more muscular and modern stance.
