In a welcome move for Indian travelers, the Philippines now allows 14-day visa-free entry to Indian citizens holding valid visas or permanent residency from countries such as the US, UK, Canada, Australia, Japan, Singapore, or any Schengen state. This policy, effective from May 2025, also allows a one-time extension of 7 days, bringing the total stay to 21 days.
To be eligible, travelers must have a passport valid for at least six months beyond their stay, a confirmed return or onward ticket, and no derogatory records with the Philippine Bureau of Immigration. A separate 30-day visa-free option is also available under specific criteria, further enhancing accessibility. For those who don’t meet the new visa-free criteria, the e-Visa option remains open. This move reflects the Philippines’ intent to strengthen tourism and ties with India, offering Indian tourists a tropical escape filled with rich culture, pristine beaches, and vibrant experiences.
