Travellers planning a trip to Thailand should take note: the Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi has announced revised visa, legalisation, and consular service fees for Indian applicants, effective from April 27, 2026.

The new rates include a Single Entry Tourist Visa at ₹3,000 (up from ₹2,500), Multiple Entry Tourist Visa at ₹13,500, Transit Visa at ₹2,500, and Non-Immigrant Visas starting at ₹7,000. Long-term options see sharper increases - SMART Visas now range up to ₹1,20,000, while the Long-Term Resident (LTR) Visa goes up to ₹1,40,000. Document legalisation and passport services have also become costlier.

Importantly, the popular 60-day visa-free entry for Indian tourists and short-term business travellers remains unaffected. Applicants are advised to check the latest fee structure on the official Thai Embassy website before submitting applications.
