The Israel Ministry of Tourism (IMOT) has introduced an electronic visa (e-Visa) system for Indian travelers, effective January 1, 2025. This digital platform enables Indian tourists to apply for visas entirely online, removing the need for physical paperwork and simplifying documentation requirements. The e-Visa system is integrated with Israel’s Entry Travel Authorization (ETA) system, ensuring efficient processing and timely approvals. Currently, the service caters to individual tourists, with group visa applications continuing through existing channels. Applicants can access the e-Visa platform via the official government portal. This strategic move underscores Israel’s commitment to enhancing tourism accessibility and strengthening ties with India, reflecting the growing importance of the Indian market to Israel’s tourism sector.
