Indian carrier IndiGo has announced the launch of **direct flights between **Delhi and London Heathrow, starting February 2, 2026, marking a major expansion of its long-haul international network. The service will operate five times a week using Boeing 787 aircraft taken on lease, featuring both IndiGoStretch and Economy Class seating. With this addition, the airline’s weekly flights to London will increase to 12, joining its existing daily Mumbai–Heathrow service and enhancing travel options between India’s capital and the UK.
IndiGo’s CEO has highlighted that the new route aims to meet growing demand from business travellers, tourists, and the Indian diaspora in the UK, offering enhanced convenience and competitive pricing. This launch is part of IndiGo’s broader international strategy, which includes recent and planned routes to destinations like Manchester, Athens, Denpasar, Krabi, Hanoi, and Guangzhou.
