Xiaomi Showcase its First Electric Car SU7 in India

Xiaomi showcases its first electric car SU7 in India, which is its maiden public display of the flagship product in India. The company revealed the EV on its 10th anniversary. This electric vehicle also offers an experience of the “Human x Car x Home” smart ecosystem.

The highly anticipated Xiaomi SU7 is officially referred to as a “full-size high-performance eco-technology sedan” This EV is the first in the line of the Xiaomi EV range which is expected to be expanded in future. Alongside the Xiaomi SU7 design, Xiaomi has developed five core EV technologies: E-Motor, CTB Integrated Battery, Xiaomi Die-Casting, Xiaomi Pilot autonomous driving and smart cabin.

The Xiaomi SU7 Max, the top variant of the series features 673 PS of power as well a maximum range of 800km on a single charge. The Xiaomi SU7 Max with 838 nm of torque can accelerate from a standstill to 100km/h in just 2.78 seconds. According to the company, it has a top-level braking system which is capable of bringing the car to a standstill from 100km/h within a distance of just 33.3 metres. The company clarifies that the Xiaomi SU7 was only bought in India for showcase purposes and not for sale in the Indian market.
