Kia is gearing up to expand its global EV lineup with the debut of the all-new EV2 at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show on 9 January. Expected to become the brand’s entry-level EV in several international markets, the EV2 is also likely to be introduced in India, where it would sit as Kia’s smallest electric offering. The model has already been spotted testing multiple times and ahead of its global reveal, Kia has released a teaser image hinting at what’s to come.
The teaser shows the EV2 under a black cover, revealing only its silhouette and select design cues. The production-spec model carries forward much of the styling seen on the concept showcased earlier this year. Key elements include an upright front with vertically oriented components, a sloping roofline and a slightly raked rear windscreen. Notable differences from the concept include a longer front overhang and the addition of conventional B-pillars, replacing the wide-opening, pillar-less doors seen earlier.
While Kia has not disclosed powertrain specifics, the EV2 is expected to use a 400-volt architecture similar to the EV3. It may feature a single front-axle motor and offer two battery options, approximately 39 kWh and 46 kWh, targeting a driving range of 450–500 km.
