Vinfast is gearing up to shake the Indian electric car market with its feature-loaded VF6, an SUV specially designed for the competitive midsize segment. The car comes equipped with a 59.6 kWh battery pack and a powerful 204 HP front-wheel-drive motor producing 310 Nm of torque. The SUV measures 4.3 meters in length with a roomy 2.7-meter wheelbase and features India-specific modifications, including increased ground clearance and 18-inch wheels.
VinFast has loaded VF6 with premium features including a 12.9-inch touchscreen, heads-up display, panoramic glass roof, heated seats, Level 2 ADAS, and seven airbags. The SUV is likely to be priced at around ₹22 lakh. As part of its vast infrastructure development plan, VinFast’s parent company Vingroup will establish nationwide service networks and charging stations.
VF6 has already been positioned as a straight rival to established players in the Indian auto market. Competing with giants like Tata Curvv EV, Hyundai Creta EV, and Tata Harrier EV, the VF6 is expected to capture attention with its competitive pricing, modern design, and promising features tailored for Indian consumers.
