Toyota Recalls Hyryder SUVs Over Faulty Fuel Indicator

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced a recall for select Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUVs sold in India due to a potential issue with the instrument cluster. The recall affects 11,529 vehicles manufactured between December 9, 2024, and April 29, 2025, where the fuel gauge may display incorrect readings. This follows a similar recall for the SUV’s rebadged counterpart, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.

Dealership representatives will reach out to affected owners to schedule inspections and carry out necessary replacements. Toyota has emphasised that the process will be conducted efficiently to minimise inconvenience and ensure customer confidence.
