In the latest turn of events, Nissan made a bold statement at the Japan Mobility Show 2025, unveiling a refreshed lineup designed to strengthen its home-market presence. Leading the charge is the all-new Elgrand, joined by an updated Ariya EV crossover and confirmation that the legendary Patrol SUV will finally hit Japanese roads in FY27.
The fourth-generation Elgrand took centre stage with its futuristic pixel grille, dotted LED lights, and sleek wedge-shaped tailgate. Inside, it’s all about comfort and tech, dual 14.3-inch displays, 64-colour ambient lighting and an optional 22-speaker Bose system. Under the hood, Nissan’s third-gen e-POWER hybrid and new e-4ORCE AWD promise smoother, quieter drives and improved efficiency.
Meanwhile, the refreshed Ariya brings a sharper look, Google-powered infotainment, Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) capability and upgraded suspension for a more refined EV experience. Further, Nissan also reiterated its sustainability goals, linking its growing EV lineup, including the LEAF and Ariya.
With these launches under the Re: Nissan plan, the automaker is clearly gearing up for a strong comeback in Japan, blending design, innovation and practicality to power its next growth chapter.
