Mahindra is set to launch a major update to its Scorpio N SUV, originally introduced in 2022, featuring luxury enhancements that will likely be positioned as a new model. The most noticeable addition is a panoramic sunroof, replacing the current single-pane electric sunroof offered only on top-spec trims, which aims to enhance the cabin experience for buyers seeking luxury.
The update aligns the Scorpio N with modern safety standards by introducing Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Expected features include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, smart pilot assist, high beam assist, traffic sign recognition, and lane keep assist—technologies already proven in Mahindra's XUV700.
Under the hood, the updated variant retains the current motor options: a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine, both paired with a six-speed manual or a torque converter automatic gearbox. A 4WD version remains available for off-road fans.
While Mahindra hasn't officially announced start dates or prices, the improved Scorpio N is expected to arrive soon, adding a more luxurious and technology-rich product to the competitive SUV market, thereby improving its position against rivals.
