Honda has expanded its City car range with the launch of the City Sport, a limited-run version positioned strategically between the V CVT and VX CVT trims at Rs. 14.89 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Priced Rs. 49,000 above the V CVT version, the Sport edition focuses on visual improvements rather than speed changes.
The body gets a unique blacked-out treatment across the grille, rear spoiler, shark fin antenna, metal wheels, and ORVMs, accompanied by a new 'Sport' badge. Customers can choose from three colour options:
• Radiant Red Metallic
• Platinum White Pearl
• Meteoroid Grey Metallic
Inside, Honda has adopted a sporty black-and-red theme with leatherette seating featuring red stitching across seats, door trims, steering wheel, and dashboard. The AC vents sport a glossy black finish, while 7-colour ambient lighting adds premium appeal.
The City Sport retains the same 1.5-litre i-VTEC gasoline engine, producing 121 HP, paired with a 7-speed CVT gearbox. Standard features include ADAS safety technology, an 8-inch tablet with wireless connectivity, paddle shifters, and keyless entry with push-button start, making it an attractive choice for buyers wanting stylish looks at a mid-range price point.
