To support this initiative, India has designated $5 million for joint tourism projects and promotional activities. These efforts aim to enhance infrastructure, strengthen travel ties, and build lasting connections. As part of broader ASEAN-India relations, PM Modi emphasized the significance of India’s “Act East Policy,” highlighting its impact on trade, tourism, and investment.
