Mumbai is gearing up to host its ninth edition of the Frances Tustin Memorial Trust Conference from Sept 20 to 22 to discuss non-medical approaches to tackle mental health issues. The theme for this year is - ‘Early Ruptures and Their Impact on Individual Psyche.’
This international gathering with be a convergence of ideas of various mental health experts like psychotherapists, psychoanalysts, special educators and other mental health professionals. The conference tends to explore how childhood trauma could lead to mental health issues like anxiety, depression and developmental disorders. This conference is a collaboration between the Indian Psychoanalytic Society (Mumbai Chapter) and the Frances Tustin Memorial Trust in Israel. The gathering aims to discuss innovative new approaches that professionals can use to address deep-rooted trauma across all age groups for better outcomes.
