The test was conducted on dummies of an 18-month and a 3-year-old, seated in forward-facing child seats on the rear seats. While there was poor chest and head protection for the 18-month, in the case of the 3-month-old, the seats could prevent forward movements and thus provided good protection to the head and chest.
