Wat Phra Kaew or Emerald Buddha are the two most prominent temples in Thailand, you can visit them during the morning. You can even visit Wat Pho, which is just a 10-minute walk from Grand Palace.

You can have your lunch and visit Wat Arun in the afternoon, which is known as the Temple of Dawn. Post that you can explore Chinatown nearby or relax for a while and prepare for the evening.

For your first evening in Bangkok, you can check out Muay Thai, which is the national sport of the country. Depending on the day that you are travelling, you can either visit Rajadamnern Boxing Stadium or Lumpinee Stadium. After you witness some epic Muay Thai, you can visit Khao San Road for a night party. There are plenty of restaurants and pubs to explore.

Day 2

For the second day, you can start it a bit easy and relaxed by heading to Lumphini Park. It can be quite relaxing and feel away from the hustle of the city. If you are travelling around the weekend, you cannot miss out on the Chatuchak weekend market. If you are planning to shop or pick some souvenirs for friends and family, this might just be the place. Keep in mind though, you can get lost in the market for hours.

You can head to the Museum of Contemporary Art in the afternoon. The museum has the art of over three decades and can be quite exquisite. Later, you can take a stroll on the skywalk. The observation deck is 314 metres above the ground and can provide you with a panoramic view of the city. A sunset can be quite scintillating from the deck. At the onset of the evening, you can visit Asiatique for dinner. The riverfront can be quite an experience. There is a night bazaar and entertainment that goes on well into the night.

Day 3

Even before you realise it, you will be on the third and last day. You can start your day with a visit to the floating market, which can be quite memorable. Even if you do not shop, you can try a lot of local food such as mango sticky rice, coconut ice cream or noodles.

For the afternoon, you can book a spa for yourself. After all the travelling and exploring, you would really crave a good Thai spa. If you are looking for a slightly unconventional trip, you can opt for a bicycle tour with fireflies. The tour will take you through the streets and eventually the riverbank. Where you can have a sumptuous Thai dinner. A guide will take you to the place where fireflies can be seen in abundance. The months between May and December are ideal for such sightings.

Alternatively, you can visit the Sea Life Ocean World for meeting some stunning underwater animals. The place boasts a 270-degree viewing angle and some amazing underwater animals. Post that, you can visit Madam Tussauds wax museum.
