Sticker prices are tempting, but everyone who buys an Ola S-series quickly learns that the bill is much bigger than the ex-showroom tag. As time goes on, subsidies end, batteries change by kWh, and Ola electric scooter insurance quietly checks to see if the deal still seems good value.
Riders can choose the right model and estimate their five-year costs if they know how much every rupee is worth. Before you click that all-digital "buy" button on Ola's website, read on to learn how to negotiate better rates.
There are models with prices starting below a lakh rupees, but the final price always includes two wheeler insurance, registration, and any extras that come with the bike. The S1 X2 kWh costs ₹99,779 in Delhi in May 2025, and the top-of-the-line S1 Pro Gen2 costs ₹1,57,757.

Along with RTO fees, smart card charges and handling, your bill has an insurance line that includes scooter insurance. On-road samples in Delhi show that insurance costs about ₹5,300, registration costs about ₹1,500, and the required green plate costs ₹1,000. These add about ₹1.63 lakh to the price of an S1 Pro.
As part of EMPS-2024, subsidies took ₹10,000 off mid-battery types. On the other hand, the PM E-Drive cuts the help in half, to ₹2,500 per kWh in FY 2025–26, and caps it at ₹5,000 per car.
