Diplomatic passport holders do not need a visa for travelling to Turkey for up to 90 days. Similarly, Ordinary, Special and Service passport holders who also have a valid Schengen membership or a visa/residence permit from the USA, UK or Ireland can get their single entry e-Visas for one month via its official website. Lastly, Ordinary, Special and Service passport holders from India must obtain a visa before entering Turkey.
No, Turkey does not provide a Visa-on-Arrival for Indians. The country abolished this facility in 2014. Since then, all Indian passport holders have been required to obtain their e-visas or sticker visas for 30 days issued by the consular mission in Turkey or a Turkish diplomat. If you wish to stay in the country longer than that, you must apply for a residence visa to Turkey.

Before applying for a Turkey visa, you must meet certain conditions. Here are the eligibility criteria:
1. You must have a valid passport.
2. The passport must be valid for at least 6.
3. You must have minimum funds of $50 for each day of your trip.
4. The purpose of your visit must be Tourism/Business.
5. You must show proof of a valid supporting document in the form of a Schengen Visa/a Visa or residence permit of an OECD or Schengen country.
Here’s a checklist of documents that you might need when applying for a Turkey Visa from India:
1. A valid passport
2. Scanned copy of the first and last page of the passport
3. Recent passport-sized photos
4. Return flight ticket
5. Hotel reservation in Turkey
6. Detailed travel itinerary
7. International or multi trip travel insurance for backup by HDFC Ergo, valid for the duration of your stay
8. Bank statement
9. An employment letter (if employed)
10. A marriage certificate (if married)
11. A notarised consent form from parents for minors travelling alone or from the absent parent if travelling with one parent
The fees for a Turkey Visa for Indians depend on varied factors, including the visa category you’re applying for and your age.
For Single Entry Transits, the amount is INR 4270, whereas for Double Entry Transits, the amount is INR 8540. The validity of these two visa categories remains 3 months and can be obtained within 5 days of application.
On the other hand, for a Normal Single Entry Visa, the fee is INR 4270, whereas for a Normal Multiple Entry Visa, the fee amounts to INR 14220. It may take up to 30 days for the visas to get processed, but the validity in these cases goes up to 6 months. Having multi-trip insurance visa in this case helps a lot to avoid unforeseen problems.

2. Enter your passport/visa number
3. Feed the email ID used in previous correspondence
4. Enter the captcha code
5. Click the submit button
