Mr. Theodoros Kokkalas (DIN:08093899) has extensive experience in business strategy and business modelling in the property, health, and life insurance sectors, as demonstrated by various directorship positions he currently holds and has held. He has been working in several management roles at ERGO since 2004. He was responsible for ERGO’s activities in Greece from 2004 and in Turkey from 2012 until 2020. From May 2020 until December 2024, he served as the Chairman of the Executive Board of ERGO Deutschland AG (“ERGO”), where he effectively and successfully developed the business in Germany during these years, making it more dynamic and resilient. With effect from January 2025 Mr. Kokkalas has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Management of ERGO International AG. Additionally, Mr. Kokkalas holds directorship/supervisory positions in various companies within the ERGO Group. He graduated as a Lawyer (LL.M) from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, and also holds a degree in Economics from the University of Piraeus, Greece.
