Additionally, cases of JN.1 have been reported from various parts of India. So far, a total of 63 cases of the sub-variant have been detected in the country. The highest number of cases have been reported in Goa, with 34 cases in a single day, followed by nine in Maharashtra, eight in Karnataka, six in Kerala, four in Tamil Nadu, and two in Telangana. Fortunately, most reported cases have mild symptoms and are not a cause for concern.
