Fill up the pre-auth form at the network hospital for cashless approval.

2️⃣ Approval/Rejection

Once hospital intimates us, we send you the status update.

3️⃣ Hospitalisation

Hospitalisation can be done on the basis of pre-auth approval.

4️⃣ Claim settlement

At the time of discharge, we settle the claim directly with hospital.

1️⃣ Hospitalisation

When you select a hospital, which is not in our network for reimbursement claims you need to pay the bills initially and preserve the original invoices.

2️⃣ Register a claim

Post-hospital discharge send us all your original invoices and treatment documents.

3️⃣ Verification

We verify your claim related invoices and treatment documents.

4️⃣ Claim Settlement

We send the approved claim amount to your bank account.

If I have sufficient coverage. Why do I need Optima Secure+ ?

The healthcare inflation runs at 14% a year — a static multiplier loses real value every year. Infinite Benefit under Optima Secure+ is built specifically to fight that erosion with Optima Secure+, get coverage as per the need, 100% of Base sum insured added year after year. After Year 10 on a ₹10L base plan, An Optima Secure+ customer has 12X (₹1.2 Cr).

Does Infinite Benefit reset if I make a claim?

No. Any amount of infinite benefit that was accrued at the start of a policy year shall be carried forward as is to the next policy year irrespective of claims provided that the policy is renewed.

What's the difference between Infinite Benefit and Plus Benefit?

Plus Benefit grows at 50% per year up to a maximum of 100% of the Base Sum Insured, then stops. Infinite Benefit grows at 100% per year with no upper limit — it keeps adding every single year for as long as the policy is in force. In Year 1 they look similar. Infinite Benefit creates a substantially larger effective cover.

What is the Automatic Restore Benefit (unlimited times) offered under Optima Secure+ plan?

Under Automatic Restore Benefit (unlimited times), if an insured person claims in a policy year, a sum equals to the Base Sum Insured is available for subsequent claims thereafter in that same policy year. Any unutilized amount cannot be carried forward.

What is the USP of Optima Secure+ plan?

Optima Secure+ plan offers a progressive benefit – the ‘Infinite Benefit’ & ‘Automatic restore benefit (unlimited times)’. We are also introducing Lifetime Discount which will be offered to young customers of age 35 years or below. Optima Secure+ also offers Favorable Claim Experience Discount (FCED), which provides a discount of up to 21% to the first-time buyers of health insurance and up to 18% discounts based on a customer’s hospitalization claims experience over the preceding two policy years.
