Hero MotoCorp Two Wheeler Insurance

Hero MotoCorp Bike Insurance

Hero MotoCorp is the company which many people have known for long as Hero Honda. Being the largest commuter two-wheeler manufacturer in the world, the company holds an undisputed leadership position in India. They have been active in the market since 1984 when they started production from Dharuhera near Gurgaon. Today, the company has a wide range of two wheelers including both scooters and motorcycles in the market. One big reason for the massive success of Hero MotoCorp is the legendary reliability of their bikes and scooters. They are known to run miles after miles even in the roughest and harshest of conditions and terrains.

Popular Hero MotoCorp Two Wheeler Models

1
Hero Splendor Plus
Hero Splendor Plus is the primary workhorse of the company and has been so for many years. It is among some of the most fuel-efficient models available in India. The bike comes with the 97.2 cc air cooled engine and has both kick start and self-start options. A four-speed constant mesh transmission works on the wet multi-plate clutch system. The bike is equipped with front and rear 130 mm drum brakes. It has 165mm ground clearance, which allows it to go anywhere in India despite uncomfortable road conditions. The bike is equipped with a 9.6 litre fuel tank.
2
Hero XPulse 200
Hero reached the heights of success with its launch of XPulse 200 which brings the legendary reliability of Hero bikes to the off-roading segment. It is perhaps the company’s first ever attempt to build a vehicle in this segment. The bike comes with a 199.6 cc engine that is oil cooled and works on 4 valve technology. It has a 5-speed constant mesh transmission working on the wet multi-plate clutch system. Thanks to 220 mm ground clearance, the bike can go anywhere and overcome anything, from the rough terrains of Ladakh to smooth expressways.
3
Hero Xtreme 200S
What happens when you pair a 199.6 cc engine with a touring bike system and give it a really great design? You get the Hero Xtreme 200S. With 165mm ground clearance and 2062 mm overall length, this is perhaps the most reliable touring bike that is currently made in India. The bike also comes with a full digital LCD instrument cluster that can pair with your phone via Bluetooth. The system also gets turn by turn navigation which really strengthens its touring credentials.
4
New Maestro Edge 110
Hero may have been a late entrant in the scooter market in India, but they have earned their place and then some. New Maestro Edge 110 is the leading offering from the company in the scooter market. This scooter has a 110.9 cc engine, which is based on fuel injection technology and generates 6 kw power and 8.7 Nm of torque. You do not need to be worried about changing gears in the scooter because of a variomatric drive transmission and a dry centrifugal clutch. This is the scooter for everyone, and with 155mm ground clearance, it can go anywhere.
5
Hero Pleasure Plus
This is the entry level scooter in India which uses the same motive system used by Maestro but mounted on a smaller and more compact and light body. Even though the scooter is just 1769 mm long, it still gets the 155 mm ground clearance. You get a smaller 4.8 litre fuel tank and 10-inch tubeless tyres, which are controlled by the internal expanding shoe type brakes. These brakes can take a lot of pressure and yet deliver enough stopping power to keep the rider safe
